WHEN PLANTS SET THE TIMETABLE

The date, climate and walking day matter as much as the list of gardens.

From our Chongqing base, YINYU operates across China as a China DMC, with our deepest expertise in Southwest China. We design and run garden and horticulture journeys for garden clubs, botanical and horticultural societies, specialist operators, landscape professionals and travel advisors. The work combines season-aware route research, confirmed host coordination, private transport, accommodation, interpretation and live ground support. Qualified trade briefs can use NET B2B rates and agreed white-label delivery while the advisor relationship remains protected. Private gardens, nurseries, botanical institutions, specialists and seasonal displays remain subject to host confirmation and current growing conditions.

HABITAT · PLANT · STEWARDSHIP

Begin with the living system, not a checklist of gardens.

THE SEASONAL ROUTE

We plan for what should be meaningful in that place and season — with honest alternatives.

01

Season-aware research

We review historical flowering or foliage windows, climate, elevation, public opening information, maintenance and current local conditions without selling nature as fixed inventory.

02

Confirmed host coordination

Public gardens, heritage landscapes, nurseries, botanical organisations, private properties and specialists are approached according to the group’s actual purpose.

03

A walking day, not a photo stop

Surfaces, gradients, heat, shade, rest, photography and the time needed to read labels or hear plant interpretation are planned together.

04

Private ground arrangements

Hotels, private vehicles, drivers, guides, interpreters, rail, transfers, tickets and meals are coordinated around the strongest visit windows.

05

Regional contrast

Classical gardens, urban landscapes and Southwest China’s different ecologies can connect when the change in climate and planting tells a coherent story.

06

Live operations

One China-side operating contact monitors confirmed openings, weather, transport and changes during the journey.

THE DATE IS PART OF THE SUBJECT

A flowering window is evidence, not inventory.

Historical timing helps choose a route, but weather, altitude, maintenance and the year’s growing conditions decide what is actually present. We plan around likely interest, then keep enough alternatives for the group to learn even when nature is early or late.

01

Flowering and foliage

We explain the likely window and its uncertainty. No fixed departure date can guarantee a bloom, harvest, colour change or natural display.

02

Climate along the route

Heat, humidity, rainfall and elevation affect both plant life and people. Transfer days and clothing guidance should reflect the change.

03

Private and specialist access

A nursery, private garden, research area or specialist visit is included only after the host confirms the group, purpose, date and conditions.

04

Weather backup

A useful alternative might emphasise plant collections, garden history, stewardship or interpretation. It should still belong to the horticultural brief.

WHO THE JOURNEY IS FOR

For groups interested in living systems, not a decorative backdrop.

01

Garden clubs and horticultural societies

For member groups interested in planting, garden history, stewardship, regional landscapes or particular collections.

02

Specialist botanical operators

For companies that need a local DMC to connect public gardens, confirmed hosts, private transport and wider cultural context.

03

Landscape and design groups

For professional or alumni groups exploring garden design, urban landscape, ecology or horticultural practice with a qualified leader.

ACCESS IS NOT A PROMISE

Gardens change, and private access remains private until confirmed.

A strong horticultural programme tells the truth about seasonality, stewardship and access. It does not sell a bloom, collection or private invitation that no one controls.

01

No guaranteed seasonal display

Flowering, foliage, harvest, weather and maintenance conditions vary. We give the best current context but do not guarantee natural timing.

02

No assumed private access

Private gardens, research areas, nurseries, collections and behind-the-scenes visits require the owner or institution’s explicit agreement.

03

No unconfirmed plant movement

Plant collection, purchase, propagation material, phytosanitary documentation and export are outside the standard travel scope unless separately researched and approved.

04

Specialist authority stays clear

YINYU provides local research, interpretation and operations. Technical horticultural instruction remains with the buyer’s leader or a separately confirmed specialist.

QUESTIONS THAT CHANGE WITH THE SEASON

Answers for garden and horticulture group planners.

Can you arrange a garden or horticulture tour in China?

Yes. We can research and operate a private programme around the group’s interest, dates and pace, using public and specifically confirmed visits.

Can you guarantee private garden access?

No. We can approach appropriate owners or institutions, but a private visit is included only after the host confirms the group, purpose, date and conditions.

Can you guarantee flowers will be in bloom?

No. We plan with historical seasonality and current local information, but weather and living plants do not follow a guaranteed travel schedule.

Can the group buy or export plants?

That is not a standard inclusion. Plant health, protected species, customs and phytosanitary requirements would need separate professional review and confirmation.

Do you work with overseas garden tour operators?

Yes. We can provide NET B2B ground rates, agreed white-label delivery and one China-side operating contact for qualified partner briefs.

BUILDING THE RIGHT PROGRAMME

A serious garden journey leaves room for living conditions to change.

GOOD FIT
  • A garden club, society, professional or specialist group with a defined horticultural interest
  • A buyer who values season-aware planning, patient visits and realistic walking and transfer time
  • A programme open to public excellence as well as carefully confirmed private access
NOT THE RIGHT FIT
  • A brief dependent on guaranteed bloom dates or an advertised private visit before approval
  • Plant collecting, propagation or export without a separately verified legal and phytosanitary scope
  • A mass-market route that treats gardens as brief photo stops between unrelated attractions

FOR TRADE PARTNERS

NET B2B rates · white-label by agreement · advisor relationship protected.

Pricing follows the confirmed brief, and one China-side operating contact holds the agreed local scope. See For Travel Advisors or review supplier due diligence.
