01Test the product idea against the audience
We begin with who already buys from the operator, what they value in existing trips and what the China product must add. A beautiful place is not enough if it does not fit the brand, price position or group rhythm.
02Travel the transfer days honestly
Rail stations, airports, road time, luggage, meal windows, check-in, walking and recovery are experienced as part of the product. We test whether the sequence still feels coherent when the group moves at a realistic pace.
03Read hotels as operating decisions
Location, room mix, breakfast, coach or vehicle access, lifts, luggage handling, nearby food, noise and service language can matter more than a general star rating. The scouting brief records which details affect the intended guests.
04Separate interesting from repeatable
A local encounter may be meaningful once but unsuitable for a published departure without confirmed capacity, permissions, timing, price and a respectful format. We identify what can become a repeatable inclusion and what should remain a research lead.
05Rebuild the commercial route
After seeing real distances, service levels and access conditions, we adjust nights, inclusions, contingency, staffing and ground cost. The resulting product should be attractive to sell and calm enough to operate.
